Balance Dog Training using a step-by-step approach using the 3 C’s.

  • Calm

  • Confident

  • Consistent

Training sessions are held in your own home or an appropriate neutral setting based on your goals and your dog’s needs. Depending on your dog, the home may be the most comfortable and the simplest(least distracting) environment to learn new commands. It also allows all household members to participate if desired. Dogs respond better to owners who are calm, confident, and consistent in training and that is why I am here to help you and your dog. Dogs THRIVE on structure and knowing who is in charge. Dogs learn to respect you as the leader, via training. They become happy, engaged, well-behaved dogs that are a true joy to be part of your family.

Work with Cadence on engagement and trust.

Gave an impromptu lesson to the owner of this Bully XL who I saw walking in the Neighborhood. I wanted to meet this breed. He was very well-behaved. I was the first person to walk him beside the owner.

Emma is on her 90ft longline. This is her favorite activity and is what she was bred for, hunting. I use the very, very long line because dogs must be leashed where I live. She knows her commands, Come, Go, Right, Go Left, Straight, Around(right pivot around obstacles like trees, post, etc), Turn(180), Stay. We rarely get tangled. Typically you train on 10 to 30ft longlines. Longline training is a critical step in E-collar training for recall, however is used for many training aspects.
